Kilgraston has won
Independent School of the Year Award 2011




Michael Farmer, the principal, received
the prestigious award at

the Independent School Awards,
on Wednesday 16th November.

The award is a reflection of the hard work of all
the staff and pupils over the last few years and
the transformation of Kilgraston into
Scotland’s leading girls’ boarding school.

The judges took into account Kilgraston’s
recent excellent HMIe inspection along with a number of factors
including their outstanding examination results.
The judges described Kilgraston as
“particularly impressive”,

“forward-thinking” and
“an example to other schools”.

Fr. Andrew Clark (the Chaplain)
leaves after seven years of ministry

Fr. Andrew Clark sent us photos saying
that he just received them on the 15th. Dec.,
"which is significant as it happens to be
the day I leave after seven years of ministry."


The photos were of Cardinal Keith O'Brien's visit to Kilgraston last September.
